Up down, turn around
Touch the sky and touch the ground
Wiggle fingers
Wiggle toes
Wiggle shoulders say "Hello"

Book: The Mitten by Jan Brett
Several animals sleep snugly in Nicki's lost mitten until the bear sneezes. The toddlers loved seeing what animal was coming next.
Song/Rhyme:The mitten on the ground.
The mitten on the ground.
Heigh-ho! It's cold outside.
The mitten on the ground.
The (mole) snuggles in.
The (mole) snuggles in.
Heigh-ho! It's cold outside.
The (mole) snuggles in.

Flannel Board Story: The Three Little KittensI knew this nursery rhyme but a quick google search will give you the words.
Song: "The Mittens On My Hands" (Tune: "The Wheels on the Bus")
The mittens on my hands keep me warm.
Keep me warm.
Keep me warm.
The mittens on my hands keep me warm.
All winter long.
The hat on my head covers my ears...
The boots on my feet jump in the snow...

Book: One Mitten by Kristine O'Connell George
One mitten can do many things, but when the second mitten is found, it is time to go outside and have fun.
Folder Story: Kitten's Mitten's
I found this as a flannel story but I changed it into a folder story by taking a manila folder and cutting a mitten shape out of it. Then I stapled all edges but one and put construction paper in the order of the story. It will make more sense when I post a picture and you read the story.

Goodbye Song:
Up down, turn around
Touch the sky and touch the ground
Pat your belly
Blink your eyes
Blow a kiss and say "Goodbye"
